God saved a women's life from suicide
Friday 13th November I called up a friend that I hadn’t spoken to in a while.
I was very surprised when I enquired about her silence to hear that my dear friend was in hospital just a short 2 weeks ago after attempting to commit suicide!
I was saddened and started sharing with Letitia* about the love of God and how He has plans for her life. I decided to send and told her to expect something in the post within the next few days.
The information I posted to her was testimonies from “Revelations of heaven and hell by 7 youths”.
Notice how God miraculously moved that letter to save her….
The mail services in our little town usually do their last deliveries Friday afternoons by 13:30 and these services do not run on Saturdays.
I posted this letter Friday afternoon at 15:30 meaning that, under normal circumstances; it should have left its place of origin Monday morning and arrived at her address by Thursday morning, but our God had other plans for her.
Letitia* has battled with very severe depression for over 10 years. She has made many different unsuccessful attempts to take her own life.
She was haunted by this dark heavy cloud over her life and saw no hope, no light and just no reason to live anymore. Monday morning, 16/11 would be her last day alive, she decided, so far and no further, today is the day. She walked out of her flat to the place she would take the final leap to her death, off a bridge.
But before getting very far, she did something very out of place and strange considering her frame of mind, she checked her post box!
“But God!” The letter had arrived!!! Impossible? For man yes, but not for the Mighty God we serve!
She opened the letter, not expecting much and totally unaware of what was coming. She could not stop reading. As she read and slowly walked back into her flat, the Holy Spirit had started the great work in her heart.
She finished reading and knew with total conviction that HELL was not where she wanted to go! Not to burn for all eternity!
All alone, with no-one but the Holy Spirit to witness this wonderful act, Letitia* went on her knees and begged God to forgive her.
The change that has come over her in the last few days is absolutely awesome.
God is Good! God is Faithful! She is so hungry for God and is overflowing with excitement and the Joy of the Lord. Now Letitia lives with great expectancy for what God has planned for her life.
She says “I have 1 purpose only in life, and that is to know and serve God.”
Also proving once again that “Friday 13th” does not apply to the Children of GOD!
Still very fragile and needing a lot of support she would love to stand on roof tops (thank God-not to jump!) but to share the story of her encounter with the ONLY TRUE LIVING GOD!
